Structure of STG Group
STG Germany GmbH was founded in January 2004 in Nuremberg, Germany as successor and brand-holder to the renowned Günther GmbH, which itself was founded as early as February 1922.
The company took over the complete know-how from Nuremberg, the customers, as well as the patents and it is entitled to use the GÜNTHER® trademark. Furthermore STG Germany expanded beyond this by taking over the company Bachem GmbH & Co. KG from Berlin, and founding sister-companies in Romania and India.
The main production unit was transferred to Blaj, Romania. All three units in Germany, Romania and India have their own sales and R&D departments to contribute to improvement of customer relations. Measures were set in place to enable our unit in India, to setup an independent production unit with potential for further expansion. Headquarters and a highly specialized production element remain in Nuremberg, Germany.
Goals1. The current company structure results in lower production costs.
2. Investments are continuously made for the development of new products and more customized products.
